4-day workweek creates new volunteers in Utah

"Since August, about 17,000 of the state's 24,000 executive-branch employees have been working 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday...The extra day off is giving some workers their first opportunity to volunteer while holding a full-time job. Others are dedicating more time to helping others..."

I think the government is on to something here. Less time working for the government results in more productivity maybe? Nah. This would probably happen with just about any job, whether in the private or public sector. Regardless, it is good to see those government workers doing something productive!
